Applicable Release | v10.2 |
For user-defined mobility, users can input their own mobility model using FILE_BASED_MOBILITY (mobility.txt file) as explained in section 8.2.4 of NetSim v10.2 User Manual.
File-Based Mobility is not directly available as a mobility model for the Sensor nodes. To get this option for Sensor nodes
- Open the folder <NetSim_Install_Directory>/Docs/xml.
- Rename the existing Property.xml as say Property-original.xml for backup purposes.
- Copy/paste the attached Property.xml file
After doing this, upon reopening NetSim, you will get an additional mobility model - FILE_BASED_MOBILITY under the list of Mobility Models in the sensor general properties.
