Troubleshooting Internet connectivity related issues when connected to VPN:

When creating a new VPN connection in Windows, the option Use default gateway on the remote network is enabled by default. It means that all traffic from your computer is sent through a VPN tunnel. If internet connectivity gets disrupted after connecting to VPN the following procedure can be followed to disable Internet traffic routing through a VPN tunnel

1. Press Win + R > Type ncpa.cpl > OK

2. Right Click on the VPN adaptor > Properties

3. Go to Networking Tab > Double click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)

4. Click on Advanced > Uncheck Use Default gateway on remote network > Click on OK > OK > Again OK
