Users having Node-Locked Licenses may face issues while attempting to load Sample Configuration files by double-clicking on it. NetSim prompts you to enter the IP address of the license server, whenever you attempt to open any configuration file by double-clicking.

As a workaround,

Double-click on the NetSim shortcut in your desktop
Click on Open Network and browse to the location of the Configuration file that you want to open and select it.

This will allow you to open any sample configuration file/ saved scenarios without any difficulties.
