NetSim Packet Trace file can be used to identify whether a packet has reached the destination successfully. For each packet entry in the packet trace, the column PACKET_STATUS will provide the information related to whether the packet was Successful/Errored/Collided/Buffer dropped. To analyze the status of the packets belonging to a specific application, users can apply filters to the column CONTROL_PACKET_TYPE/APP_NAME, where one can select a specific type of packet based on the application to which it belongs. Further, since the entire transition of the packet across intermediate devices will also be recorded, users can apply filters to the RECEIVER_ID column, where one can select the Device ID of the destination device. This will eliminate multiple entries of the same packet.
